Happy Christmas 2013
16th December 2013
Feeling a bit at a loss at the year's end, I decided to look at what good luck had come my way in 2013 and found that I had been very fortunate indeed.
This year, I have:
Won the BPS Trophy for the print of the year.
Been commissioned by the Spears Family to photograph over 100 paintings by Frank Sydney Spears for the book to accompany the retrospective exhibition of his carer in Cape Town next year.
Been a finalist (twice) in The Royal Photographic Society's monthly competition.
Had three images in the top 50 of Amateur Photographer of the Year.
Been awarded the AFIAP distinction and had my pictures in several exhibitions such as the National Monochrome in Cheltenham.
Been shortlisted in the Take A View Landscape Photographer of the Year competition.
So I am looking forward to what 2014 may bring.
