Just finished a quite unusual commission, photographing oil paintings and watercolours painted by the renowned South African artist, Frank Sydney Spears.
His artwork is in private and public collections around the world and I was tasked with photographing the ones in Britain.
Sounds easy but with over 120 different pictures of all shapes and sizes, it took quite some time.
The most demanding bit was colour correcting the images and preparing them for the publishers in Cape Town.
The images will all appear in a new book about the artist's life and work which is being published to coincide with a retrospective exhibition of his paintings in South Africa.
